ENERGAIR, the sustainable compressed air management arm of Belgian-based compressor controls specialist CMC, has appointed compressed air veteran Joe Henke as part of the business’s wider growth plans for its US territories.

Joe joins the business as senior account manager for all mid-west states and the New England region after 28 years in the compressed air space.

Initially joining LeROI in 1994 as an engineer, where he worked on a series of research and development projects for three years, he then took a service technician role in a move that coincided with CompAir’s decision to buy the business in 1997.

Over 14 years later, when Gardner Denver acquired CompAir, he worked as a build service engineer where he developed the firm’s portfolio of training and free products.

In his role at ENERGAIR, Joe is responsible for increasing the firm’s market share and building its userbase across AIRMATICSTMits flagship IoT compressed air monitoring, control and performance platform. His engineering background will also see Joe support ongoing product development.

On joining ENERGAIR, Joe comments: “As more and more end users refocus their attention towards solutions that save energy against the backdrop of a global energy crisis, ENERGAIR is incredibly well-positioned to meet the needs of countless manufacturers across the United States. I now look forward to leveraging my long career and the relationships I’ve built during that period in order to help grow the ENERGAIR brand.”

Nicolas De Deken, ENERGAIR Solutions Inc’s president, adds: “Joe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience of developing a wide range of compressed air products over a career spanning almost three decades. His contribution to the team will be invaluable and we all look forward to working with him as we continue to deliver on our expansion plans.”
