Together, we continue to help industrial facilities across the US improve their compressed air quality, reliability, and energy performance, system by system.
About the Project
The system we recently commissioned includes:
– Two Sullair VCC200S-150H/A compressors with Supervisor Controllers
– One Sullair LS11009S compressor with STS Controller
– Dewpoint and Ambient Temperature Monitoring for Proactive Maintenance
The system has been designed to manage a high-demand, multi-compressor setup using the Airmatics Aero master controller, providing intelligent control based on real-time production requirements. The architecture is fully scalable and ready to adapt as production needs change, ensuring compressed air output stays perfectly aligned with actual demand, efficiently and reliably.
Real-World Impact
Rob Michael, Senior Technical Advisor at Cummins-Wagner, highlighted several real-world benefits of the Airmatics Aero system:
“We love the Aero and its IoT remote monitoring because it allows us to catch issues before they lead to a shutdown.”
Rob pointed to the ability to monitor not just compressors, but also three refrigerated dryers, two Sullair RD-850s and one Sullair SRCV1000. By tracking dewpoint and dryer fault status through the Airmatics platform, the team receives early alerts that allow for proactive intervention, preventing potential production disruptions.
He also praised the ease of integration:
“What I really appreciate is the almost plug-and-play connectivity to Sullair’s STS and Supervisor controls. It made installing and commissioning the Aero quick and straightforward.”
Finally, he emphasized the benefit of real-time flow monitoring, which helps both the customer and Cummins-Wagner’s service team keep an eye on actual air demand, optimizing system performance over time.
